Denver International Christian Church

“Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness. When he saw the crowds, he had compassion for them because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.” (New International Version, Matt 9.35-38)

On Friday night, Eugene Wright, who serves as a ministry intern for the church, preached a powerful message at our weekly campus devotional entitled, “Breaking News!” His lesson helped the campus ministry understand the Breaking News of how lost the world truly is.

He reminded us that the harvest of souls is undoubtedly plentiful in Denver, Colorado with over five million lost souls needing a relationship with God!

And yes, the workers are few, but praise God for the diligent workers in the Denver International Christian Church! Since last August, God has blessed the faith of these workers by growing His Church from 33 to now over 60 “Sold-Out disciples of Jesus!”

As exciting as all of these miracles are, we need to remember our goal is not to grow to 70, 80, 100, 500 or even 1000 disciples… but our goal is to reach all of Colorado and give every single person a chance to hear the true gospel of Christ (Col. 1:23)!

Therefore, let’s continue to share the good news of Christ everywhere we go! Let’s strive to start up new Bible studies and bring your friends to church every week. And in time, as God gives us more and more workers, we will soon multiply and reach all of Colorado!

And to God be the glory,
