“Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever! Amen.” (New International Version, Eph. 3.20-21)
One year ago today, my wife, Daniela and I, along with 11 disciples moved from Houston, Texas, to Denver, Colorado, as the “Denver Supplemental Mission Team!” Since arriving last July, we can honestly say we have seen God do “Immeasurably More” than we anticipated! Let’s consider just a few of the miracles God has done:
NUMERIC GROWTH: By God’s grace, in the last 52 weeks, we have seen 51 additions! Fifty baptisms, and one restoration!
FINANCIAL GROW: The Lord has grown our weekly contribution from $2,160 to $4,650! We have also been able to raise over $105,000 for World Missions, church plantings, and to aid third world countries!
LEADERSHIP GROWTH: The Denver church has grown from only two people on staff to 9 paid people on the Denver payroll! Next, we were able to begin The International College of Christian Ministries, which is our accredited bachelor of arts ministry program. We have also been able to reinitiate the Preachers Academy to train future preachers for full-time ministry!
I put before you, that as great as all of these miracles are, they are just the beginning of what God has planned for the great Denver Church! As a congregation, let us all decide to grow in our faithfulness, our hard work, perseverance and radical dreaming and we will see more extraordinary miracles in the year to come!
With that, we ask you to join us as we continue to pray that God may move powerfully in the rest of this year’s 2022 Church Goals.
